December 2015 - Present

KENTWOOD PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Behavior Office Paraprofessional.  Responsibilities include:

·         Processing all student, major and minor disciplinary referral forms.

·         Maintain a constant, updated, daily points tracking system of behaviors on each of the 800+ students in the building.

·         Process behavioral issues with students.

·         Send notifications to parents regarding disciplinary actions involving their students.

·         Prepare forms, records and documentation for disciplinary hearings requiring long-term suspensions and expulsions of students.

·         Develop and maintain positive relationships with Middle School age children, helping them to avid poor decisions and empower them to make good choices.

·         District and statewide reporting.

·         General office work.

·         Designing images for various school events and programs, that would be applied to T-Shirt’s, Posters, hats and various other items.


December 2015- 2016:                      Kentwood Public Schools


Weekend night supervisor for East Kentwood Ice Arena.  Responsibilities include:

  • Sales and customer service in the EKHS Ice house pro shop, concession stand.

  • Purchasing items needed for concessions.

  • Overseeing employees in the skate rental room.

  • Basic cleaning and stocking of facility.

  • Cleaning, cutting ice and driving the Zamboni machine.

  • Closing the building at night.

  • Signing customers up for skate lessons hockey lessons and team sports.

August 2007 -210

LESA LIVINGSTON EDUCATION SERVICE AGENCY

Substitute teacher for all Livingston County Public Schools. Responsible for a variety of classes, such as:
·         Instructing and encouraging special education students, for which I have a strong passion.
·         Facilitation of art, computer technology, English, history and science classes.
·         Primary and secondary education, teaching elementary through high school classes.

October 2008 - 2010

J.C. PENNEY. NOVI, MICHIGAN

Lead sales associate. Responsibilities include:

·         Organizing and setting up weekly ad merchandise and displays.

·         Customer assistance.

·         Staff and associate leadership and support.


Successfully designed and implemented new shopper’s guide that is presented to the customers to assist them in finding the merchandise they want and in the correct sizes.

October 2006 – August 2008

REMEMBER ME, AND MONEY BAGS

·         Designed and developed business advertisements for local newspaper and community shopper guides.
·         Consulted on and created graphic designs for store website.
·         Contributed artistic ideas and suggestions for engraving and impression projects.

October 2006 – August 2007:

METRO PARK WAREHOUSE (PROCTER & GAMBLE DISTRIBUTION CENTER)

August 2005 – September 2006:   Metro Park Warehouse (Procter & Gamble Distribution Center)


Customer Service Specialist Supervisor for Procter and Gamble’s Regional Return Center.  Responsibilities include:

·         Verification and validation of all shipping returns.

·         Scheduling and capacity planning.  Managed warehouse workers, prioritizing their assignments and eliminating constraints that could lead to work overload and failure to meet deadlines.

·         Reviewed shipping payloads to ensure all HAZMAT issues were properly addressed.

·         Participated in professional training sessions and assumed ownership of corporate SAP responsibilities for the local facility.

·         Organized and administered charity donations to reduce costs incurred due to damages, overages, and product returns.  Arranged for non-profit organizations such as Second Harvest, food banks, and animal shelters to receive goods that might otherwise be disposed of.
